The story of the life of Jesus Christ on earth

The life of Christ has been narrated in the Gospels written by some of the early Christians. Established in Nazareth, his parents, Saint Joseph and the Virgin Mary, were by mistake in Bethlehem to be registered in the census when Jesus was born. The gospel story surrounds the birth of Jesus with a series of miracles that are part of the Christian faith, such as the genealogies that make him descend from King David, the virginity of Mary, the angel's announcement of the event, and the love of the newborn. By sponsors and some astronomers from the east.

Although Christian civilization has limited the number of years from the supposed moment of his birth (which will begin the first year of our era), it is known that Jesus of Nazareth was born shortly before that, because he was in the time of King Herod. After the circumcision of Jesus, it was the persecutions of Herod, who died in 4 B.C., that temporarily sought refuge in Egypt until the king's death allowed them to return. For the rest, the childhood of Jesus Christ passed naturally in Nazareth, where his father was a carpenter.

The start of the goal of Jesus Christ

At about the age of thirty, Jesus Christ began his short public activity, joining the preaching work of his cousin John the Baptist. After listening to his sermons, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River, and at that time John referred to him as the incarnation of the Messiah God had promised to Abraham. John, who condemned Herodias' scandalous marriage to Herod Antipas, son and successor of King Herod, was soon arrested and later beheaded at the instigation of Herodias and his daughter Salome.
After baptism and a forty-day retreat in the desert, Jesus Christ began his preaching. He addressed himself mainly to the popular masses, among whom he recruited a group of loyal followers (the Twelve Apostles), and toured Palestine. He preached the revision of the Jewish religion on the basis of love for one's neighbor, separation from material goodness, tolerance, and the hope of eternal life. The so-called Sermon on the Mount, with its wonderful rituals, is the best synthesis of his message.
Knowing that his end was near, a few days before Easter, he went to Jerusalem, where he received him at his entrance, and expelled the merchants from the temple. Jesus ate the Last Supper to bid farewell to his disciples. Then he was arrested while praying on the Mount of Olives, apparently due to the betrayal of one of them, called Judas, who indicated to the priests of the Sanhedrin the ideal place to arrest him.

Initiation of the mother of Jesus Christ

Thus began the sufferings of Christ that would lead him to death after his many sufferings. In it, he gives his disciples an example of sacrifice in defense of their faith, in which they will merge by subjecting themselves to martyrdom in the next time of persecution. Jesus was tormented by Pilate, who preferred, however, to leave the prisoner's fate in the hands of the local religious authorities; They decided to sentence him to death by crucifixion. The cross, which was a common instrument of torture at that time, later became a fundamental symbol of the religion

The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead

The Gospels say that Jesus Christ rose three days after his death and appeared several times to his disciples, and they were entrusted with spreading the faith. Forty days later, according to the book of Acts, he ascended to heaven. Judas committed suicide, repenting his betrayal, while the remaining apostles scattered across the Mediterranean world to preach the new religion. One of them, San Pedro, was at the head of the church or congregation of the Christian faithful, by decision of Jesus Christ himself. Soon the new converts were incorporated into the evangelism, among them Saint Paul, which encouraged the spread of Christianity beyond the borders of the Jewish people.
Paul's work made Christianity cease to be a schismatic Jewish sect and became a global religion that stretched as far as the Roman Empire until it became the official recognition of Emperor Constantine in the fourth century. Since the fifteenth century, with the era of European discoveries, it spread throughout the world, and today it has become the most widespread religion of mankind, although it is divided into several churches, such as Roman Catholic and Orthodox. Greek and various Protestants.
